The South Region plays a pivotal role in the national skill development ecosystem, driven by its strong industrial and manufacturing base, advanced technical and vocational training infrastructure, and a high concentration of skilled youth across key sectors. The IndiaSkills Regional Competition in the South aims to further strengthen state-level skill ecosystems, foster excellence and innovation, and ensure fair and competitive representation of candidates from the 7 Southern states in the national selection process.
