The Eastern Region plays a significant role in the national skill development ecosystem, supported by its emerging industrial clusters, growing focus on technical and vocational education, and a diverse pool of skilled youth across key sectors. The IndiaSkills Regional Competition in the East aims to strengthen state-level skill ecosystems, promote inclusive participation, encourage excellence and innovation, and ensure fair and competitive representation of candidates from the 6 Eastern states in the national selection process.
